Job Description – Research Analyst (Chemistry)

DURATION: 4months contractual/full time on performance

About Bariflo Cybernetics:

Bariflo Cybernetics Pvt. Ltd. is an Industry 5.0 startup working at the intersection of IoT,automation, and aquaculture innovation, with 42 patents filed and supported by premiergovernment incubation programs. We are currently executing final experimental validationstudies at the Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture (CIBA), Chennai) and arelooking for a motivated Chemistry intern to join .

Role Overview

The Research Analyst (Chemistry) will play a key role in conducting and supporting final chemical and water-quality experiments under the supervision of senior scientists at CIBA and the Bariflo R&D team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical analysis of water, feed, and soil samples in aquaculture systems.
• Perform titration, spectrophotometric, and chromatographic experiments as per standard lab protocols.
• Support final experimental trials at CIBA, including setup, sampling, and data collection.
• Maintain detailed records of experimental data and analytical results.
• Assist in instrument calibration, reagent preparation, and laboratory maintenance.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and data summaries for internal review.
• Coordinate with Bariflo project leads and CIBA research teams for smooth execution.
• Ensure strict adherence to lab safety and research ethics standards.

Required Qualifications

• Final year B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / AnalyticalChemistry.
• Exposure in water-quality analysis preferred.
• Basic familiarity with UV-V is spectrophotometer, pH meter, conductivity meter,.
• Strong foundation in laboratory techniques and chemical data interpretation.

Stipend & Benefits

• Up to ₹20,000 per month based on performance and project involvement.
