EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, or Sciences; (eg. Social Science or Statistics) from an accredited four-year college or university;
Four years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

High School Diplomas and college/university degrees must be obtained from an accredited program or university approved by the United States Department of Education and the Texas Education Agency.
PRIMARY PURPOSE SUMMARY :
Research and evaluate programs for North East Independent School District. Collaborate with schools and other departments to facilitate and manage planning, improvement, and evaluation of projects.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assists with the collaboration with administrators and directors to create reports for data analysis and program evaluation.
2. Assists with the design, implementation, and statistical analysis of projects including program evaluation.
3. Assists with the preparation of reports to the Board of Trustees, Superintendent, Executive Staff, special committees and patrons.
4. Assists with maintaining and operating the District's geographic information system using ArcGIS.
5. Assists with the annual evaluations of campus capacity.
6. Assists with the coordination of the activities of contractors providing demographic inputs to enrollment models.
7. Assists with the development of student enrollment projections.
8. Assists in annual recommendations of staffing allocations using enrollment projections.
9. Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of changes in attendance boundaries.
10. Assists with the evaluation of District demographic and development trends and development of recommendations for the location and timing of new schools.
11. Assists with forecasting impacts of legislative decisions on the district, campuses, and other community stakeholders.
12. Maintains confidentiality of information.
13. Reports to work on time every day.
14. Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
  • Proficiency in the following analysis platforms: ArcGIS, SPSS, SQL Server, and Tableau.
  • Proficiency in the following applications: Qualtrics, Microsoft Office Suite, and Project Management Tools.
  • Ability to remain current and adaptable to new technologies.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work independently with limited direction.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to deal directly with patrons and employees at all levels.
  • Strong communication skills (listening, speaking, and writing).
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
  • Ability to apply statistical analyses such as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License with driving record that meets the requirements of the District.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally required to drive personal vehicle in the performance of assigned tasks.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The employee is occasionally required to work in a confined space. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
