About the Role

We are seeking a Research Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for recruitment, data collection, and coordinating study visit activities for a research trial using Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) in Veterans with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This position is ideal for someone who is interested in working with patients with mental health disorders, is detail-oriented, and enjoys and thrives working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit Veterans with ADHD and other mental health comorbidities for participation in a randomized controlled trial.
• Administer protocol-specific TMS in a research setting.
• Collect research data through various means, including questionnaires, interviews, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), computer tasks, and neurophysiological recording (e.g., electrocardiogram).

Qualifications

• Able to work safely in MRI and TMS environments; no prior experience necessary as training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• U.S. Citizenship (required).
• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field (1+ post-graduate and/or human subjects research experience preferred)
• Salary range: $48,000- $58,000
