Job Summary The Research Assistant provides academic support to senior researchers (Principal Investigators) across all phases of research projects. This role assists in implementing research initiatives and related activities within the Institute.
Key Responsibilities
Provides support and assistance to Principal Investigators in all phases of the research project, including proposal preparation, fieldwork planning, data collection, analysis, and dissemination.
Participates in writing papers, articles, and reports based on the findings of Institute surveys, in collaboration with the Principal Investigator.
Prepares progress and survey management reports as requested.
Attends and actively participates in meetings and research-related events as requested by the Head of Research and/or the Principal Investigator, contributing to the Institute’s broader goals.
Assists in coordinating and setting up training activities relevant to the Institute's work, collaborating with the Administrative Assistant and other relevant parties.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (such as health, education, sociology, political science, or economics).
Languages: Excellent proficiency in English and/or Arabic (both written and verbal).
Experience: Demonstrated expertise or background in research methodologies.
