Job Summary

Collaborate with domain experts in geochemistry, remote sensing, and machine learning to develop a Geographic Information Systems database architecture and processing pipeline for efficient organization, storage, and retrieval of geospatial data layers. Document developed architectures and pipelines for team members to use for the duration of the project.

Essential Job Duties

• Work in ArcGIS, QGIS, and Python environments to create database architecture.
• Document all code and procedures developed.
• Communicate regularly with team members to understand data layers.
• Generate information-rich graphics and maps to share results with stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Geospatial data conventions and file formats.
• Basic Earth Science background.
• Familiarity with machine-learning approaches to data science problems.
