Title: Research Assistant (Browder Lab)

Position Number: CASUAL

Hiring Unit: C OF NAT SCI, DEPT OF PHYSICS & ASTRONOMY

Location: UH at Manoa

Full Time/Part Time: Part-time

Temporary/Permanent: Temporary

Other Conditions: Federal funds. Appointment to begin approximately mid June 2026 and not to exceed July 31, 2026.


Duties and Responsibilities

Will be Performing supervised experimental research in high-energy physics in Belle II. and sudy semileptonic B->D* l nu decays.

Minimum Qualifications

B.S. equivalent degree in Physics or related field. 0-1 years of experience particle astrophysics and quantitative modeling; programming; ability to organize tasks and to work independently; ability to write scientific reports; excellent oral and written communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications

1+ years of experience working in high-energy physics and dark matter.
