Position Summary Berklee College of Music invites applications for a remote Student Research Assistant. This position is a joint initiative between the Berklee Division of Music Business/Management and the Berklee Career Center. The selected candidate will conduct data-driven research to evaluate commercial music trends and optimize career development resources. Primary Responsibilities
- Market Analytics: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on music industry economics, emerging technologies, and consumer behavior.
- Database Management: Compile, catalog, and maintain structured data regarding industry employers, management firms, and corporate partners.
- Report Synthesization: Author comprehensive briefs, market summaries, and actionable data sets to support faculty and career advisors.
- Strategic Collaboration: Participate in cross-departmental briefings with leadership from both the Career Center and the Music Business division.

- Academic Status: Current enrollment in good standing at an accredited U.S. higher education institution.
- Field of Study: Open to students of any college major who have a passion for the changing trends in the modern music industry.
