Research Assistant

Job Description:

We are hiring a short-term research assistant to help build a comprehensive database of youth sports organizations in Colorado.

This is a 2–3 day contract project requiring strong online research skills and the ability to organize data clearly in spreadsheets.

Responsibilities:

• Research youth sports leagues across Colorado (football + club programs)
• Identify league structures, teams, and organizational affiliations
• Collect contact information (email, phone, website, social media)
• Use online tools (Google, websites, Facebook pages, etc.) to verify data
• Organize all findings into a structured Google Sheet

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong internet research skills
• Is comfortable using ChatGPT or similar AI tools to organize and structure data
• Can work quickly and independently
• Pays attention to detail and understands being thorough
• Has experience with spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel)

Bonus:

• Background in sports management, journalism, data research, or analytics
• Familiarity with youth sports leagues or Colorado sports programs

Project Deliverable:

A clean, organized spreadsheet including:

• Youth sports organizations in Colorado
• League affiliations (AYF, AYL, independent, etc.)
• Contact information for each organization
• Notes on structure (recreational, competitive, club, etc.)

Pay: $200.00 - $250.00 per day

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Littleton, CO (Arapahoe County)
