Research Assistant - Analytical Chemistry Lab

Job Brief

We're seeking for Analytical Chemistry Research Assistant who will be responsible for sample testing, data recording and performing routine checks to ensure the quality and integrity of data.

Job Description

Laboratory Performance

Participate in all lab performance activities and, whenever applicable, compliance of lab activities with ISO/IEC 17025/GLP requirements.

Implementing laboratory procedures effectively to control lab activities.

Execute the approved internal quality control program to ensure proper control of technical processes.

Execute equipment operation protocols, intermediate check procedures, and maintenance plan.

Record results daily and report immediately any malfunction or abnormal results.

Improvement

Provide suggestions for laboratory operation improvement.

Stay up to date with Scientific updates/ regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

Must-have

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Biotechnology, Science, Pharmacy or relevant field.
• 3 Months:3 years of experience in relevant position.
  
  

Nice to have

• Training, workshop attendance, graduation projects, conference attendance/presentation, publications.
• Familiarity with data collection methods, statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, GraphpadPrism, etc).
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and adherence to good laboratory practices (GLP).
• Experience with MS Office
• Familiarity with presentation software e.g. MS PowerPoint and Empower software for water hplc.
