The Research Assistant contributes to experimental work in epithelial cell biology, performing molecular, biochemical, and imaging-based techniques to test research hypotheses. In this role you will be responsible for generating and analyzing data, maintaining accurate research records, and supporting publications and presentations that communicate the team’s findings.
Partnering closely with the Principal Investigator and fellow researchers, you will apply techniques in epithelial cell culture, mutant line establishment, quantitative fluorescence imaging, molecular biology, and biochemical assays. Beyond bench work, you will support daily lab operations by maintaining equipment and supplies, organizing research materials, managing data, and assisting in manuscript and presentation preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct experiments using epithelial cell lines, including mutant line establishment and molecular/biochemical assays.
- Perform quantitative fluorescence imaging and analyze imaging data and ATAC-sequencing results.
- Maintain research records and manage laboratory data for publications and presentations.
- Support lab operations through equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and daily organization.
Contribute to process improvements and ensure compliance with lab standards.
If you enjoy hands-on research and want to make meaningful contributions in a collaborative, well-organized lab, we encourage you to apply.
