Position Summary

The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology is seeking a highly motivated and independent research assistant to join the laboratory of Dr. Andrea Gonzales to support ongoing investigations into the role of Th2 cytokines in atopic dermatitis across companion animals and humans. An emphasis on understanding neuro-immune interactions to identify molecular mechanisms underlying atopic disease is also a focus in the hopes of identifying novel therapeutic targets in companion animals and humans. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the One Health concept in a collaborative and dynamic environment and be a part of the growth in MSU’s drug discovery program. This position is for one year from the original hire date with the potential for an extension based on funding availability.
