Position Summary
The Department of Genetics of the LSU School of Medicine has an opening for a Research Associate 1. Incumbent will grow bacterial cultures and assist with protein purification and biochemical and biophysical assays. Incumbent will set up and conduct standard research experiments. In addition, incumbent will handle general lab management tasks, such as reagent ordering, environmental health and safety compliance, and lab maintenance.
