The full-time Research Associate will manage the NIMH-funded study Development of a School-Based Prevention Intervention to Promote Adolescent Mental Health Equity (R34MH136018) and assist on the NIMH-funded study, Design of a Lay Health Worker Training to Promote Youth's Access to mHealth Interventions (R21MH135234) both led by the BCSSW Assistant Professor Dr. Maggi Price.
The Research Associate will report to the studies’ Principal Investigator (PI): Assistant Professor Dr. Maggi Price.
The Research Associate will primarily manage activities for an NIH-funded study (R34MH136018), such as participant recruitment and retention, data collection and cleaning, and overseeing a multi-site clinical trial. They will serve as liaison between the study team (e.g., Professor Price, Professor Poteat at Lynch School of Education), partners (e.g., schools), and participants (e.g., school staff). The Research Associate will also collaborate with other BC entities, such as the Office of Sponsored Programs and the Institutional Review Board. In addition, the RA will assist in activities related to another one of Dr. Price’s NIH-funded studies (R21MH135234) such as data collection and analysis.

This role primarily operates in a professional office environment which may require with occasional travel to partner sites across Massachusetts. Additionally, the Research Associate may need to work outside regular business hours to meet project demands.
