Job Description

The Ford Agency is looking for a smart and motivated Research Coordinator to join a prestigious international law firm. The ideal candidate will have advanced research and writing capabilities and a solid comprehension of the complexities of business relationships. Attention to detail, database management, and strong interpersonal skills are key to this important role. Responsibilities Include:

Research digital and print databases to determine and analyze client conflicts of interest
Maintain databases and collaborate with other departments for data cross-referencing
Create detailed reports of client/business relationships
Escalate conflicts and unresolved issues
Open new matters and manage the process
Assist with other projects as needed

Qualifications Include:

Bachelor's degree
Master's in Library Science or interest in pursuing that degree strongly preferred
1+ years of research experience in a law library
Familiarity with legal databases (Westlaw, Lexis Advance, Law 360, or similar)
Advanced research and analytical skills
Professional writing and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize independently

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
