Job Summary
We are seeking an Entry-Level Research Coordinator to support clinical research studies. The ideal candidate will have experience with CRIO, be comfortable performing phlebotomy, EKGs, and FibroScan, and understand basic clinical research operations. This role works closely with investigators, research staff, and study participants to ensure compliance with study protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily activities of clinical research studies
- Use CRIO for subject tracking, documentation, and data entry
- Perform study-related procedures:
- Phlebotomy
- Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
- FibroScan
- Screen, recruit, and schedule study participants
- Collect and accurately document research data
- Maintain regulatory files and assist with IRB submissions
- Ensure compliance with protocols, GCP, and institutional policies
- Assist with monitoring visits, audits, and data queries
- Communicate with investigators, sponsors, and research team members
Qualifications
Required:
- Entry-level experience in clinical or research coordination
- Experience using CRIO or similar research management systems
- Ability to perform phlebotomy
- Experience with EKG and FibroScan
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred:
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Research-related certifications such as:
- GCP Certification
- CITI Human Subjects Protection
- CPR/BLS
- Phlebotomy certification
- Familiarity with IRB processes and regulatory documentation
- Fibroscan certification
