The Research Coordinator will support the implementation of a research project that examines the health impacts of extreme heat exposure in urban Dhaka and aims to inform evidence-based, climate-resilient urban planning and policy.
The Research Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day research operations and providing administrative, logistical, and technical support for project activities conducted primarily in Bangladesh. The position will work closely with faculty investigators at Tulane University and collaborating institutions in Bangladesh to facilitate data collection, regulatory compliance, purchasing, documentation, and communication across research teams.
In addition to project coordination, the role will support data processing and assist with data management and analysis workflows, including organizing datasets, conducting preliminary data cleaning, supporting descriptive analyses, and preparing materials for reports and publications. The Project Coordinator will also assist with IRB coordination, progress reporting, and scheduling of meetings and field activities.
