Summary

The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a part-time research team member to support primary investigators in the conduct of research studies. The individual will work closely with PIs to assist with data collection, contribute to data analysis, and help prepare and present findings in clear, well-organized written formats. This role provides an opportunity to actively participate in research activities and support the successful execution of study objectives.


Part-time schedule conducted during typical business hours, generally between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Duties

  • Conduct research activities under close supervision in accordance with established study protocols.
  • Participate in study-related tasks such as required trainings, patient recruitment and screening, interviews and assessments, cognitive testing, and biological sample collection.
  • Collect, review, and interpret research data to support principal investigators and research team members.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date study records, databases, and documentation.
  • Order laboratory and research supplies as directed by senior research staff.
  • Maintain and organize regulatory binders in compliance with study and institutional requirements.
  • Attend and contribute to research team meetings.
  • Perform clinical support tasks such as obtaining vital signs and assisting with blood draws, as needed.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
  • One year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Medical degree.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience or background in the psychiatric field preferred.


Work Authorization Requirement:

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment.
