We are recruiting a Research Coordinator to support clinical research activities within a translational metabolic research laboratory at the USDA/ARS Children's Nutrition Research Center at Baylor College of Medicine. The selected candidate will provide coordination support for a productive research program, working closely with research participants and multidisciplinary team members.
Responsibilities include coordinating research activities, maintaining regulatory documentation, recruiting participants, and carrying out research protocol procedures in accordance with established guidelines.
Flexible scheduling is available to accommodate the needs of children and their families, with the research unit open two Saturdays per month.
The Research Coordinator III will also provide guidance and training to junior research coordinators on regulatory requirements and clinical research processes, while supporting participant recruitment efforts through community outreach events and engagement with community clinics.
Primary Role is to serve as the Community & Stakeholder Engagement Lead for multiple studies in the PI's Lab with responsibility for engagement strategies and cross-site communication. This role will focus on participant recruitment and retention efforts.
