The Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking an Instructor (PhD) position to assist faculty in pancreatic cancer basic science research. Specifically, the Instructor will contribute to developing pancreatic cancer vaccines and novel therapy development in wet lab research and various animal models. This individual will be responsible for assisting faculty with general lab maintenance, basic science research in the areas of molecular biology, immunology, and cancer biology, novel research strategies development, novel therapeutics development in various pancreatic cancer mouse models.
Education required: Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field. Previous cancer research and cancer animal model development experiences are preferred.
