A full-time lab technician position is available in the Tronson Laboratory in the Psychology department at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor MI. The Tronson Laboratory studies mouse behavioral models of learning and memory, with a focus on neuroimmune function, stress, and Alzheimer's disease. Duties will be on site at the University's main campus and, the role will include research (including both animal behavior testing and endocrine/molecular assays), lab organization, mouse colony management, and administrative/organizational tasks. The position includes the opportunity to co-author empirical papers.
Tronson lab job duties include the following: Perform mouse behavioral and molecular experiments, including data analysis; assist with monitoring and maintaining the mouse colony etc., as well as general lab maintenance, administrative tasks and ordering.

This is a 12-month term-limited position with the possibility of renewal. The anticipated start date is April 2026.
