Introduction

CHS has five major sections – Epidemiology & Biostatistics, Health Policy & Management, Population & Reproductive Health, Environmental-Occupational and Climate Change (EOHCC), and Non-Communicable Diseases & Mental Health.

Job Roles / Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to:

  • coordinate and monitor final follow-up data collection activities across urban and rural PURE sites; ensure adherence to approved timelines and protocols
  • supervise research associate, field supervisor, and data collectors, support training, refresher sessions, and routine field monitoring
  • monitor completeness, accuracy, and consistency of collected data; support resolution of data queries and field-level issues
  • ensure correct implementation of informed consent procedures; maintain compliance with ERC approvals and institutional policies
  • liaise with national and international PURE collaborators, project office, and institutional teams, support coordination of meetings
  • prepare progress reports, summaries, and documentation for investigators and funding agencies, support manuscript preparation
    .

Requirements

You must have:

  • Master's degree in public health, healthy Policy and Management, or Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
  • minimum 3 years of experience coordinating field-based public health projects.
  • strong understanding of epidemiological study designs and longitudinal follow-up procedures.
  • experience in field coordination, supervision, and monitoring of data collection teams.
  • knowledge of research ethics, informed consent processes, and data confidentiality.
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and coordination.
  • strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and international partners.
  • willingness to travel to urban and rural field sites as required.
