Research Study Coordinator (Research Professional 1)

Required Qualifications:

BA/BS or a combination of education and related work experience to equal four years.

The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences is seeking a study coordinator (Research Professional 1) for several projects in the Research in Adolescent Depression (RAD) Lab.

This position will start out part-time (10 hours per week), and then move to full-time in August 2026. This position is for 1 year.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Assist with study regulatory documents - 20%. Assist with study protocol revisions under the direction of the principal investigator. Prepare patient-facing documents and communicate with the regulatory specialist to seek IRB approval for such documents.
  • Data collection - 20%. Administer questionnaires and cognitive tasks. Assist with MRI visits. Conduct interviews.
  • Supervising undergraduate student volunteers - 20%. Assist with training undergraduate student volunteers, assist with oversight in their quality of work, and support them in their independent projects.
  • Database management - 20%. Check data quality.
  • Participant recruitment and community engagement activities - 10%. Develop recruitment materials, screening calls from parents who express interest in our research. Host tables at community events, hand out brochures, interact with community members.
  • Data analysis - 10% - Conduct preliminary descriptive analyses on data to support team members
