Research & Writing Attorney (REMOTE - FL)

Reputable boutique Commercial Litigation Law Firm in Melbourne, FL is seeking a highly-skilled, RESEARCH & WRITING ATTORNEY with 1+ year of Commercial Litigation Attorney experience to join its team. (This is a 100% REMOTE role but you MUST LIVE IN FL!).

Our firm handles business torts, contract disputes, shareholder disputes, commercial litigation, creditor’s rights, commercial real estate lit, labor & employment, and government disputes.

We will consider candidates with NO Commercial Litigation experience as long as you have excellent research & writing skills, experience, pedigree and a resume & writing samples to back it up.

This is the perfect position for a Commercial Litigation attorney looking to work remotely for low billable hours; or someone who loves research and writing as opposed to litigating the files.

Preference also given to those with Law Review experience or other strong Writing/Publishing accolades on your resume.

IDEAL CANDIDATE will have some Commercial Litigation experience; as well as STRONG academic credentials, a desire and aptitude for legal research and writing, strong legal research skills using West Law and Lexis, and actually enjoys writing. We'll look for candidates with high GPA, law review, moot court, CALI / Book Awards in legal research and writing, English majors, and other skills/experience listed on your resume that display a strong interest or aptitude with research and writing.

LOW BILLABLE HOURS FOR THIS ROLE (5.5 hours per day).

SALARY: $95,000 to $105,000 (DOE) - if you require a higher salary, then you would need to relocate to Melbourne and work "in office."
