Researcher (R&D)

What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Researchers who will join our team at Research and Development (R&D) Teams at Beko Corporate as part of the TÜBİTAK 2236–A CoCirculation3 International Fellowship Program.

This role is designed for researchers who wish to conduct high-impact, Green Deal–aligned research in Türkiye while being hosted at Beko R&D Centers. Eligible candidates may apply to TÜBİTAK by selecting Beko as the Host Institution, where they will conduct world-class research in a collaborative, technologically advanced R&D ecosystem.

As part of this role, you will:

• Lead and execute research aligned with the Green Deal–focused CoCirculation3 fellowship framework.
• Contribute to the development of advanced technologies within Beko R&D Centers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across engineering, sustainability, and digital technologies.
• Drive scientific output, including prototypes, publications, and technology development.
• Participate in international collaboration, knowledge transfer, and project reporting activities as required by the fellowship program.
• Strengthen Beko’s innovation capabilities through research excellence, technical mentorship, and new idea generation.

The position is located in Istanbul, Çayırova, Türkiye.

How do we describe perfect match?

Candidates must meet the TÜBİTAK 2236-A eligibility requirements below:

• Hold a Ph.D. degree at the date of the call deadline (2025 or 2026 calls) or have successfully and unconditionally defended their Ph.D. thesis before the deadline.
• Comply with the mobility rule which they must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Türkiye for more than 12 months in the 36 months preceding the CoCirculation3 call deadline.
• Apply with a research proposal that includes a Green Deal aspect, aligned with Türkiye’s Green Growth Technology Roadmap and Priority RDI Topics.
• Not have previously received funding under Co-Circulation or CoCirculation2.
• Not have outstanding mandatory service obligations in Türkiye arising from past TÜBİTAK supports (for Turkish nationals).

What the Fellowship Provides (Per TÜBİTAK Program Scope)

The CoCirculation3 Fellowship includes:

• Monthly researcher scholarship
• Allowances for family, travel, and relocation
• Research grant and project initiation funding
• Support for establishing research teams
• Health insurance for the researcher and family
• Overhead for host institution (Beko)
• Dedicated professional development and mobility support throughout the program
