Job Description
- Provides technical support to the discovery and development of new product ideas or strategic product extensions
- Participates in analytical, experimental, investigative and other fact-finding work in support of product development scientists and engineers
- Collects and classifies new product ideas
- Captures specifications for product requirements and functionality
- Focuses on completing work effectively, efficiently, and in a timely fashion
- Understands how own assigned and/or routine tasks integrate with others in the team
- Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and perform tasks/activities
- Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval
- Impacts the quality of own work

Shift
40 hours/week. Monday thru Friday.
Minimum Qualifications
A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
B.S. Or M.S. In biochemistry/biotechnology, biology, or related areas with research experience in plant genotyping, phenotyping, and media-making.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary: $13.75-$16.50 hourly
Grade: GGS-004
