Job Title: Reservation Agent

Location: Best Western Hotels – Kuwait

Department: Front Office / Reservations

Reports To: Reservations Supervisor / Front Office Manager

Job Summary

The Reservation Agent is responsible for handling all guest inquiries related to reservations in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner. The role involves managing booking requests, maximizing room sales, and ensuring guest satisfaction by providing accurate information and personalized service in line with Best Western Hotels standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries related to room reservations.
  • Provide accurate information regarding room rates, availability, hotel services, and promotions.
  • Process individual and group bookings, modifications, and cancellations promptly and correctly.
  • Upsell rooms, packages, and hotel facilities to maximize revenue.
  • Maintain guest profiles and reservation records in the Property Management System (PMS).
  • Ensure all reservation details are accurate and complete before guest arrival.
  • Coordinate with the Front Office, Sales, and Housekeeping departments for smooth operations.
  • Respond to guest complaints, requests, and special requirements professionally.
  • Monitor daily arrivals, VIP reservations, and special requests.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and Best Western brand standards.
  • Prepare and share daily/weekly reservation reports with the Reservations Supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
  • Previous experience as a Reservation Agent, Front Office Agent, or similar role in the hotel industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel reservation systems (Opera or similar PMS).
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Strong customer service orientation and sales skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
