RESERVATIONS SUPERVISOR

Summary

This position will lead the reservations process at the hotel. Responsibilities will include: monitoring/maintaining group reservations and rooming lists, involvement with hotel inventory, assisting with reservation related training, and attending hotel reservation related meetings.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with other Rooms Departments, checking room and room-type availability, to maximize room sales, yield and average room rate through upselling and other inventory and rate management initiatives.
  • Overseeing and assisting with the processing of individual and group reservations, rooming lists, and other reservations.
  • Ensuring accuracy of airline manifests, including loading, routing, cancellations, and reporting.
  • Working closely with other management personnel in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
  • Monitoring and following up on group blocks and groups with no rooming lists.
  • Supervise, train, and develop agents.
  • Preparing and communicating a weekly report detailing pick-ups from groups.

Qualifications

  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Excellent customer service and interface skills
  • Previous group reservations experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Hyatt's reservation systema dn procedures preferred
