Job description

OakBrook Senior Living is looking for a caring and compassionate Resident Assistant/Direct Staff Worker to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. OakBrook provides care that is tailored to meet each individuals needs where they are.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Planning resident meals
Companionship and conversation
Light housekeeping tasks
Meal preparation
Medication and appointment reminders
Transportation to appointments
Assistance with grooming and bathing
Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
Alzheimer’s Care
*Skills training provided

Requirements to be a Care Professional:
**Senior Care experience
**Dementia experience
Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner

Complete a criminal background check, DMV check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50-$20

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends
• Some holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

• caregiving: 3 years (Required)
• Dementia care: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• CNA (Preferred)
