Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication administration in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Monitor vital signs regularly, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to track residents’ health status.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration tailored to individual dietary needs.
• Support residents with dementia or memory care needs by implementing specialized care plans and engaging in therapeutic activities that promote cognitive function.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, social workers, and family members to develop personalized care plans that enhance residents’ quality of life.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred.
• Certification or training in first aid is required; additional certifications such as CPR are advantageous.
• Experience with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, or memory care is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of long-term care practices and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is beneficial.
• Strong caregiving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to foster positive relationships with residents and team members.
• Valid driver’s license for driving duties related to resident outings or appointments is preferred but not mandatory. Join us in providing exceptional care that enriches lives! Pay: From $16.50 per hour
