Resident Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Resident Engineer with 15+ years of experience to oversee on-site engineering activities, ensuring that construction and installation works are carried out according to project specifications, timelines, and safety standards. The Resident Engineer will serve as the primary on-site representative of the design/consulting team and act as a liaison between the contractor and the client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and standards.
• Review and approve contractor submissions including drawings, materials, and method statements.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports for the client and senior management.
• Coordinate between the contractor, client, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
• Identify potential issues and propose solutions to avoid project delays or rework.
• Ensure that health, safety, and environmental policies are strictly followed.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical advice as required.
• Verify measurements and assist in certifying contractor invoices.
• Assist with commissioning and project handover procedures.
