Job Description:
We are seeking two highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineers to oversee the horizontal development of townhouses and villas in our exciting real estate project. As a Resident Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of the project, adhering to design specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

Minimum of 15 years (overall) and 5 years of experience in mid to high-rise projects as a Resident Engineer

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and practices

Proficiency in project management software and tools

Excellent communication and leadership skills
Key Responsibilities:
Construction Oversight:
-
Manage and supervise the construction activities of Town Houses / Individual villas in horizontal development including coordination with other agencies like site grading, utilities, roadways, and infrastructure etc.
Quality Assurance:
-
Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and relevant regulations

Conduct regular quality inspections to identify and rectify any defects or deviations from the project plans
Schedule Management:

Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure that construction phases are completed on time

Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to keep the project on track
Budget Control:

Assist in budget preparation and cost estimation for horizontal development activities

Monitor expenses and control costs to keep the project within budget
Team Collaboration:

Coordinate with various project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities

Communicate effectively with the project team to resolve issues and address any concerns promptly
Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and any change orders

Provide regular reports to project management and stakeholders on project status and any issues that require attention
Safety and Compliance:

Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel by enforcing safety protocols and regulations

Stay up-to-date with local building codes, permits, and environmental regulations to ensure compliance
Problem Solving:

Identify and address any technical or logistical challenges that may arise during the construction process

Propose and implement effective solutions to keep the project on course
