Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to oversee and manage construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are executed in accordance with design specifications, quality standards, and local regulations. Must be based UAE

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily construction activities to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Review and approve construction drawings, change orders, and technical submittals.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and meeting minutes.
• Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during construction, proposing innovative solutions when necessary.
• Manage and mentor junior engineering staff, fostering their professional development.
• Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in building projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Demonstrated experience in managing construction teams and coordinating with various stakeholders.
• In-depth understanding of quality control and assurance processes in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel as required within the UAE
