For MAN bus manufacturing plant in Ankara we are looking for you as Resident System Engineer. This role serves as the primary technical liaison between Spheros and MAN’s engineering and production departments. The position is responsible for managing technical coordination, supporting product applications, and ensuring seamless communication between the OEM site and our internal R&D, Quality, and Production teams.

These challenges await you:

  • Establish, maintain and develop strong professional relationships with MAN's R&D, production, quality and technical departments

  • Collect and communicate and technical requirements to the R&D team

  • Act as the on-site technical representative , ensuring clear communication and coordination between MAN and internal teams

  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals , documentation, and sign-off packages in alignment with customer and internal requirements

  • Support the application and integration of existing HVAC and thermal management systems into MAN vehicles, including structures, materials, electrical interfaces, and control systems

  • Support product releases , BOMs, Scope of Delivery (SOD), and mechanical installation documentation

  • Support daily OEM plant activities such as technical meetings, issue resolution, and training sessions

  • Assist in technical project initiation , preparation, and execution in coordination with R&D and Sales

  • Manage and update technical data for customer-specific models and configurations

  • Support product lifecycle management , including validation, modification, and variant phase-out processes

  • Coordinate and review i.e. cable harnesses , electrical diagrams and HVAC interfaces where required.

  • Ensure technical compliance of HVAC systems integration between SPHEROS and MAN

  • Support the implementation and validation of software and system functionality at the OEM site and headquarters

  • Provide regular written reports and technical updates to management

You inspire with us that:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering (or a related discipline)

  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience , preferably within the automotive or bus manufacturing industry

  • Ideally good understanding of HVAC or Thermal Management systems , mechanical and electrical integration

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)

  • Strong customer orientation, proactive approach and ability to manage multiple technical interfaces

  • High sense of ownership, problem-solving ability, and structured working style

  • Willingness to be based full-time at MAN Ankara and to travel occasionally (domestic and international) for technical coordination

  • Experience with CAD tools , BOM systems , and documentation software is an advantage
