Resident Engineer

Leading Global Cybersecurity firm is looking for a Resident Engineer for their Saudi Arabian business. They have a remote-first culture and global operations across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and APAC. Their core portfolio is focused on safeguard industrial environments with cutting-edge technology, threat intelligence, and expert services.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Cybersecurity Implementation Engineer to work directly with clients on-site in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. In this hands-on role, you’ll plan, deploy, and optimise the cybersecurity platform within industrial environments such as power plants, manufacturing facilities, and refineries. You will collaborate closely with client teams to monitor, protect, and improve the security of their operational technology (OT) infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Sales and Solutions teams to understand customer requirements and success criteria
• Plan and deploy sensors, network architecture, and integrations in industrial environments
• Partner with client teams to refine use cases and align platform objectives with operational needs
• Tune, optimise, and monitor the platform to ensure continuous availability and effectiveness
• Develop workflows, content, and automation tailored to client environments
• Coordinate upgrades, patches, and configuration changes
• Deliver knowledge transfer, training, and documentation to client teams
• Provide troubleshooting and break/fix support, managing escalations as needed
• Share updates on new platform features and coordinate feedback to inform product improvements
• Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g., Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting)
• Identify opportunities for additional products or services that enhance client security posture

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in ICS/OT environments; cybersecurity experience is a strong plus
• Solid understanding of IP networking, OSI model, Purdue model, and ICS protocols
• Hands-on experience with Linux (command line), Docker, and scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.)
• Experience with both on-premise and cloud enterprise software deployments, managing multiple stakeholders
• Strong customer focus with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
