Resident Engineer

Job Title: Resident Engineer – Steel Structure

Job Summary:

We are urgently hiring an experienced Resident Engineer – Steel Structure with a strong consultancy background to manage and supervise steel structure projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in project execution, site supervision, quality control, and coordination with contractors, consultants, and clients while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise all site activities related to steel structure projects.
• Ensure construction works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals.
• Conduct inspections for fabrication, erection, welding, and installation works.
• Coordinate with contractors, clients, authorities, and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance with project specifications.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
• Resolve technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Attend progress meetings and maintain proper project documentation.
• Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of UAE experience as a Resident Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience in Steel Structure Projects.
• Mandatory consultancy background in UAE projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes, standards, and authority approvals.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and reporting tools.
• UAE Driving License is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED22,000.00 - AED24,000.00 per month
