Resident Engineer

Job Overview

We have partnered with a Tier 1 Architecture and Engineering firm in Dubai to highly experienced Resident Engineers to oversee and manage the execution of large-scale construction projects across Dubai and the Northern Emirates. The ideal candidates will ensure that all project activities are delivered in accordance with design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on-site supervision and coordinate all construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, and report to senior management.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities.
• Review and approve contractor submissions, shop drawings, and materials.
• Ensure implementation of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures.
• Identify risks and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.
• Manage and mentor site engineering teams and inspectors.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in construction supervision.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale projects such as: Residential developments, High-rise buildings and towers, Hotels and Mixed-use developments
• Previous experience in Diriyah Gate Development Authority projects
• Experience working in a Consultant or PMC
