Job Title: Resident Engineer (Buildings Construction)

Location: Abu Dhabi – Al Mugharraq / Abu Dhabi Port
Availability: Immediate joiners or candidates with up to 1-month notice

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to oversee building construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing site execution, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities for building projects
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues
• Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Review and approve shop drawings, materials, and method statements
• Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation
• Ensure timely completion of projects within scope and quality standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 15 years of total experience in construction
• At least 5 years of experience as a Resident Engineer on building construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, regulations, and site management
• Experience in Abu Dhabi / UAE projects is preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale building projects
• Familiarity with local authority regulations in Abu Dhabi
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
