Position: Resident Medical Officer (RMO) – Locum Basis

Job Summary

The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) on a locum basis is responsible for providing temporary medical coverage, ensuring high-quality patient care, supporting clinical teams, and managing patients in wards, emergency, or other assigned departments during the assigned shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care and treatment to patients as per hospital protocols.
  • Conduct patient examinations, assessments, and diagnosis.
  • Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with clinical guidelines.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate medical intervention when required.
  • Monitor patient progress and document medical records accurately.
  • Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
  • Ensure proper handover of patients at the end of each shift.
  • Follow hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in procedures and clinical management under consultant supervision when required.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: MBBS with valid PMDC registration.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of clinical experience in PICU or NICU.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient management skills.
