- Diagnose and treat patients in the ICU, Casualty, Ward, ER, and Paediatric departments
- Perform medical procedures such as physical examinations, laboratory tests, and medical imaging
- Provide patient education on health and wellness topics
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations under the supervision of attending physicians.
- Collect patient histories, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests.
- Assist with developing and implementing treatment plans for a variety of medical conditions.
- Participate in ward rounds, patient care conferences, and educational seminars.
- Per training and competency, perform procedures such as suturing, intravenous line insertions, and basic life support (BLS).
- Document medical records accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, families, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
