Resident Physician - GME - Internal Medicine

Position Summary


A Resident Physician participates in a graduate medical education program gaining training in a specialized area of medicine. They work with other members of the healthcare team to provide direct medical care to patients. The Resident Physician provides clinical care under the supervision of an attending physician.

    • Fulfill the patient care requirements of the Program and accept the obligation to use his/her efforts to provide safe, effective, efficient and compassionate patient care.
    • Perform his/her assigned duties to the best of his/her ability including completion of medical records in a timely fashion, in accordance with Hospital and Program policy.
    • Perform duties at a level commensurate with the Resident’s training, skills and supervision requirements of the Program and/or accreditation guidelines; and
    • Abide by the applicable LRMC Policies and Procedures and the applicable Program requirements, rules and regulations as outlined in the Program Manual. Resident’s participation in the Program will be governed in accordance with this agreement and as outlined in the Program Manual.

Qualifications & Experience


E ssential:

  • Medical Degree

Essential:

  • Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy

Other information:
- Have completed and graduated medical school.

Experience Essential:

Certifications Essential:
  • ACLS, BLS within three months of employment

Licenses Essential:
  • Physician In Training License from the Board of Medicine in the State of Florida.
