Job Overview:
Fresh Florida Cleaning is looking for skilled, dependable, and detail-focused independent house cleaners to join our expanding team as private contractors. We’re seeking professionals with solid cleaning experience who take pride in their results and can work efficiently without constant oversight. You’ll be responsible for maintaining residential and commercial spaces to the highest standard while delivering excellent customer service.

Important: This is not an employee role. We are hiring independent contractors who meet the following requirements:

• Must have your own cleaning supplies and equipment
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must carry or be willing to obtain liability insurance

Responsibilities:

• Complete detailed cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and offices
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and perform general surface cleaning
• Handle carpet care using proper tools and methods
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces to promote client safety and cleanliness
• Follow client instructions for a customized cleaning experience
• Manage your own cleaning supply inventory and keep equipment in good condition
• Provide friendly, professional customer service
• Follow safety procedures when using cleaning products and tools

Required Experience & Skills:

• At least 1 year of professional cleaning experience (residential or commercial preferred)
• Familiarity with housekeeping, janitorial work, and industry best practices
• Strong time management and ability to work independently
• Sharp attention to detail and high-quality standards
• Hotel or hospitality experience is a plus

Equipment Knowledge:

• Comfortable using standard cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, carpet cleaners, etc.
• Understanding of proper cleaning products for different surfaces

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to bend, lift, kneel, and stand for extended periods
• Ability to transport supplies and equipment between job locations

Schedule Expectations:

• Flexible scheduling — choose how much you want to work
• Weekday and weekend jobs available
• Select your preferred service areas and time slots

Compensation & Growth:

• Average pay ranges from $25–$35+ per hour depending on service and client
