Job Duties and Responsibilities: -

Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish.

Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones. Monitor project site expenses and control costs effectively.

Creative problem-solving.

Collaborate with related departments & concerned officials namely project/operations, HR department, and Finance, to create effective business plans and should have excellent teamwork skills.

Should have excellent knowledge of in the construction management. Guide / train & educate employees/colleagues in the team wherever necessary for proper implementation & flow of the strategies in the construction process.

Explore cost-effective & workable solutions for improvement in construction processes. Timely resolution of issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents, safety etc.) Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the construction process time to time.

Supervise and coordinate the work of all construction personnel, including subcontractors. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with architectural and engineering plans / drawings as far as scope is concerned. Implement quality control programs to ensure high standards of workmanship.

Conduct final inspections and oversee project handover. Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for site personnel. Investigate and report any accidents or incidents on-site.

Provide regular updates on project progress, issues, and changes. Facilitate effective communication between contractors, clients, and other project team members.

Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily logs, schedules, and reports.

  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation to regulatory authorities and project stakeholders. Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and up-to-date. Qualifications
  • Education: o Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: o Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on site supervision. o Proven experience in managing medium/large scale construction projects.
  • Skills: o Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. o Excellent leadership and team management skills. o Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. o Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. o Ability to read and interpret the drawings, schematics, and construction documents.

Working Conditions o Predominantly on-site role, with frequent exposure to construction environments. o May require working extended hours, weekends, and holidays to meet project deadlines. o Physical ability to conduct regular site inspections, including walking, climbing, and standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
