JOB TITLE: Residential Coordinator

SALARY: $55.000 Annually
JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Act as liaison, advocate, and coordinator for consumer involvement in support groups, and other integrated community activities.
- Ensure implementation of the New Jersey Individual Service Plan (NJISP).
- Oversee all consumer medical, medication, and health issues, ensuring communication to staff, and other stakeholders using appropriate documentation and logs.
- Foster open and supportive communication with consumers, families, and various community agencies.
- Oversee daily operations of the apartment building, including scheduling, staff coverage, consumer activities, transportation, safety, and building upkeep.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, Medicaid, HUD, and DDD regulations, as well as agency policies.
- Maintain documentation in accordance with licensing, Medicaid, and agency requirements.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Assistant Managers, ensuring they provide effective leadership and support to direct care staff.
- Monitor physical site conditions to ensure health and safety standards are maintained.
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, orientation, training, and performance management of all residential staff.
- Maintain communication with the Director of Adult Services, Assistant Managers, staff, families, guardians, and external providers.
- Facilitate team meetings and ensure staff receive regular feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Serve as the primary liaison for HUD compliance matters related to apartment building.
- Collaborate with other agency departments to ensure coordinated and integrated support.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in human services, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or related field required. Equivalent experience may be considered.
