Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Residential Designer to assist with the development and design of new home construction projects. The ideal candidate is both technically proficient and design-driven, with a strong understanding of residential architecture, construction processes, and modern design trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the company to develop innovative home design concepts from initial idea through final plans
• Create detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings
• Ensure all designs meet local building codes, zoning requirements, and industry standards
• Work closely with builders, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility
• Provide input on materials, finishes, and overall aesthetic direction
• Revise and refine designs based on feedback and project requirements
• Stay up to date with current trends in residential construction and design

Qualifications:

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field (required)
• Proven experience in residential design, preferably in new home construction
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar
• Strong portfolio showcasing residential design work
• Solid understanding of construction methods and building systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with growing companies
• Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient design practices
• Familiarity with local permitting processes
