IES Residential is seeking a dependable and motivated Residential Electrical Helper to join our team in the El Paso area. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to start or grow a career in the electrical trade while working alongside experienced electricians on residential projects.

Assist electricians with rough-in work, wiring, and installation of outlets, switches, lighting, and fixtures.

Measure, cut, and bend wire using hand and power tools.

Carry, organize, and maintain materials and tools on job sites.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Follow directions from supervisors and licensed electricians.

Report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.

NEC knowledge, blueprint reading, and bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
Work is performed on residential construction sites and may include exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, and construction equipment. Must be able to stand, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Occasional travel, overtime, and weekend work may be required based on project needs.
