The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing residential remodeling projects from post-sale through installation. This role owns project execution, customer satisfaction, subcontractor performance, and cost control across multiple active jobs.

This is not a basic project management role. It is a leadership-track position for a proven operator who wants to take on more responsibility and advance quickly.

Aggressive Growth Opportunity

Our current Director of Operations is planning to retire within the next 1–2 years. We are actively searching for a top-tier Project Manager who has the experience, leadership ability, and drive to step into that role.

The right candidate will:

  • Work directly with executive leadership
  • Be involved in operational decision-making and process improvement
  • Be developed and evaluated as a future Director of Operations

This is a succession-planning role with a clear path to senior leadership for the right person.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise onsite subcontractors and enforce company processes and standards
  • Manage projects with a strong balance of customer satisfaction and cost control
  • Maintain high workmanship standards aligned with plans, specifications, and company expectations
  • Perform accurate material take-offs and ensure proper ordering
  • Clearly communicate scope of work to Project Coordinators, subcontractors, and homeowners
  • Serve as the escalation point for installation issues and customer concerns
  • Diagnose and resolve problems efficiently and professionally
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Oversee projects from implementation through completion
  • Allocate labor, materials, and resources effectively
  • Lead by example and contribute to the development of the operations team
  • Willingness to work 50+ hours per week
  • Ability to lift 75+ pounds

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional education preferred
  • 5–10+ years experience in roofing, siding, window, and door installation
  • Proven project and subcontractor management experience
  • Portfolio of work performed and managed required
  • Strong leadership presence with a professional demeanor
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, competitive, and results-driven
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • High-level customer service skills
  • Scalable le
  • adership mindset with long-term career goals
  • Carpentry experience required
