Residential House Manager

This person will be responsible for managing the residence of a senior couple. Duties include housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, running errands (dry cleaner, Post Office, airport pick up, etc.), tending to houseplants and managing vendors (landscaper, pool service, repair people, etc.). This is a "live in" position. A private one-bedroom apartment is located on the property and all utilities are provided. The apartment is fully furnished. A late model auto is provided for shopping and errands. The successful applicant may be a single person or a couple. If a couple resides in the apartment, the second occupant is expected to assist with light maintenance items that the homeowner's age prevents them from doing such as arranging furniture and using a ladder to change lightbulbs or clean gutters. The apartment provides an ideal location for one member of a couple to work from home. The homeowners travel extensively. During the travel periods the primary duties are house sitting, mail forwarding and supervising the vendors who provide routine on-site maintenance services. There are no children or pets to care for in this home. Normal work hours are from 9 am to 4 pm on Monday-Friday with time off for lunch. Some weekend work may be requested if there are house guests. Compensatory time off is offered if weekend work is requested. Major Holidays are paid days off and there are extensive opportunities for PTO when the homeowners are traveling.

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,500.00 per month
