<Job Summary>

<Duties>

• Install new residential HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment, following schematics and design specifications.
• Conduct system inspections to ensure proper operation and adherence to safety standards.
• Utilize technical drawings, schematics, and HVAC design plans to accurately assemble and install equipment.
• Troubleshoot system issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and refrigerant gauges; repair or replace faulty components like compressors, fans, or thermostats.
• Assist with plumbing connections related to HVAC systems, ensuring proper integration with existing property infrastructure.
• Operate equipment such as welding tools.
• Maintain detailed documentation of installation procedures, service reports, and system configurations.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain system features and provide guidance on system operation and maintenance.
• Support property maintenance tasks as needed to uphold the overall integrity of residential properties.

<Skills>

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC installation and service technician roles.
• Proficiency reading schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems
• Experience with plumbing connections related to HVAC systems.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical components.
• Skilled in equipment repair techniques including welding when necessary for custom installations or repairs.
• Field service experience demonstrating the ability to work independently in residential settings.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a truck/van with a high standard of vehicle safely.
• Understanding of air conditioning systems, boilers, ventilation units, and related mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) standards and practices.
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting complex systems involving refrigeration.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
