Residential HVAC Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in HVAC systems and possess mechanical knowledge that enables them to effectively install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction while working in various residential settings.

Duties

• Install HVAC systems according to design specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components and diagnosing issues.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Installation of ductwork and working in attics safely.
• Brazing in condensing units, replacing compressors and charging systems.
• Drive company vans to job sites, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to schedules.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in HVAC installation or related field service roles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
• Familiarity with property maintenance practices is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van operation.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to HVAC design.
• Ability for working in attics and strenuous environments.
• Experience with refrigerant handling and compliance with environmental regulations is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
