Responsibilities

• Install residential HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately assemble and install complex mechanical systems.
• Conduct system testing, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation; perform equipment repair as needed.
• Integrate plumbing components and refrigeration systems such as ammonia refrigeration or HVAC/R units into existing property infrastructure.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose electrical issues and perform mechanical repairs efficiently.
• Maintain property by performing routine maintenance tasks including appliance repair, boiler servicing, and general property upkeep related to HVAC systems.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations; document work progress thoroughly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction, service technician roles, or field service related to HVAC or mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), plumbing, and electrical wiring.
• Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler maintenance, or appliance repair.
• Familiarity with HVAC design principles and ability to read technical blueprints accurately.
• Experience with property maintenance tasks such as general repairs or equipment troubleshooting is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely.

Pay: $45.00 - $75.00 per hour
